2. That’s Great that the San Diego County newspapers have expanded! But I do hope they can be expanded from 1939 through Present like the San Diego Union-Tribune (1992-Present) along with the San Diego Union (1868-1992) including the issues of 1972 and 1973 and the first 3 months of 1984, the San Diego Evening Tribune (1895-1992), Blade-Tribune (Oceanside, California), The La Jolla Light and Journal (La Jolla, California), Rancho Santa Fe Times (Rancho Santa Fe, California), Del Mar Surfcomber (Del Mar, California), The El Cajon Daily Californian (El Cajon, California), The Encinitas Coast-Dispatch (El Cajon, California), The Carlsbad Journal (Carlsbad, California and other San Diego, California newspapers Anytime Sooner or Later Please.

Please let me know if the Mexican newspapers are available such as El Universal (1916-present), Excelsior (1917-present), El Grafico (1922-present), La Aficion (1930-2000 as a newspaper and 2000-present as a section of Milenio Diario), Milenio Diario (2000-present), Milenio Monterrey (1974-present) and other newspapers coming soon.

10. I keep hoping you’ll get the Doraville Neighbor from my little town in metro Atlanta, Georgia. It was the best for local news, especially school related achievements.

11. What are the requirements to be included in the list? We publish a monthly newspaper (hardcopy), the Buffalo Latino Village in Buffalo, NY.

14. I’m still hoping and waiting for The Echo newspaper to be available out of Wiarton, Ontario, Canada. There is so much information in that paper on settlers from the Grey and Bruce County.

15. Hard to believe that Wisconsin’s largest city’s newspapers are missing, The Milwaukee Journal and the Milwaukee Sentinel. At some point there was a merger. Before that, the Sentinel was Milwaukee’s morning paper and the Journal came in the afternoon.

    1. Many of the Milwaukee newspapers were in the Google News archive, I haven’t checked it lately so you may want to do that

    I would ask for the following additions-

    Manchester, NH newspapers, (i.e. Union Leader), 19th and 20th century;

    Suburban Chicago, IL newspapers by the old Donaldson Publishing Company, such as – The Ciceronian (Cicero, IL), The Austinite (Austin, IL), Forest Leaves (Lake Forest, IL) and Oak Leaves (Oak Park, IL).

27. Would like to see the News Democrat from Carrollton, Kentucky in the long list from Kentucky.

    1. From what I understand, the site is going to digitize all papers in the microfilm achieves of the University of Kentucky (1200+). So, if the UK library has this paper on microfilm then it will be digitized sometime over the course of the next year.

28. When will you record newspapers from Greenwich, Connecticut?
    There are a minimum of 5 newspapers, at least one going back at least as far as 1877.
    The 5 names I am aware of are:
    Greenwich Observer – back to at least 1877
    Greenwich Graphic – back to at least 1881
    Greenwich Press – back to at least 1919
    Greenwich News & Graphic – back to at least 1920
    Greenwich Time

    In addition, when a user is searching all papers in various states, it would be nice to have the option to display papers alphabetically by city name as well as currently just by alphabetical by newspaper name.

    I would like to see papers from Manitoba, Canada, especially the Winnipeg Tribune and the Winnipeg Free Press.

30. Please add more from Florence SC. I’ve been waiting for years now and still can’t find half of what I want to complete my ancestry. They all lived and died in the Pee Dee section. Anywhere from Florence, Effingham, Cowards, Johnsonville, Hemingway, Lake City and surrounding areas. Any thing you can do, please do so. I can’t be the only one who’s been waiting for so long. Thank You

31. Why do some comments require approval and others don’t? None of them contain any malicious keywords unless it’s like MS full of BS flags that ban words like ‘Man’ or ‘You’.

32. Please add the Chicago Herald-Examiner and Chicago American. Would also like to see some Italian papers such as Giornale di Sicilia and L’Ora.

33. Would love to see more US service newspapers from 1941-1945. It’s great that you’ve already digitized almost twenty titles such as the Gruber Guidon, Cooke Clarion. Chanute Field Wings and the Barkdale Bark, so hoping to see more in the future. Very important for research on US armed forces on the home front.
