We’ve got “Extra, Extra” exciting news! We’ve reached a major milestone and now have ONE BILLION newspaper pages for you to explore on Newspapers.com™, the largest online newspaper archive.
When we launched Newspapers.com™ back in 2012, genealogists, historians, and researchers quickly discovered hidden treasures within digitized newspapers. With your incredible support (and some of you have been with us from the beginning), we’ve grown our archives, adding millions of pages monthly.
Recently, our team gathered to watch the homepage counter turn over to ONE BILLION. It’s a major milestone, and we’re grateful for everyone who helped us get here–from our colleagues to our publishing partners to YOU! We love preserving history and are grateful for your support. Look what we have achieved together:
Thanks a billion for partnering with us, but it’s back to work for us—we have another billion pages to digitize! Make a new discovery each day on Newspapers.com™.
I love it each time another newspaper gets added to newspapers.com, it makes me as happy as a fox yokai. I can easily see another billion pages being added, especially if they added newspapers from additional countries, and let’s not forget that “The Big 1929” is coming up in a few months, lots to be added as a result. Lots to look forward to!
I’ve honestly been waiting for this. How cool, how exciting. Access to information has changed so drastically in my life. I’m really proud of our time period for having the wherewithal to come up with this site. Congrats everyone!
I use this site daily and am on my third published book because of it. Keep up the good work fam.
Thank you for your kind comments and support! We’re so happy to hear that you’ve had success with your research!
If you can please do points east of Portland Oregon! There’s lots of coverage from microfilm there in local libraries.
That’s great.
You can do better by adding more foreign newspapers (non english language).
Thx a ton.
Plx do Eastern Oregon if you can!
